The Greenfield School Committee will be discussing the School Resource Officer program expansion at its April 11 meeting.

This Wednesday, April 11, the School Committee will be holding its regular monthly meeting at 6:30pm in the cafeteria at Greenfield Public High School (21 Barr Avenue).

One of the items on the agenda is the proposal by Mayor Martin and Chief of Police Robert Haigh to expand the police department’s School Resource Officer program in the Greenfield Public Schools.

If you want to share your thoughts on this proposal and are able to attend the meeting in person, there will be a public comment session. If you are unable to attend, the contact info for the School Committee and its individual members can be found on their website.

Wednesday evening’s meeting will be broadcast live on Greenfield Community Television, and will also be streamed on the GCTV website.
